About MoneyMath Hub
Last updated: 2026-05-04
Our mission
MoneyMath Hub makes personal finance math easier to understand. We build calculators that show the formula, explain the assumptions, and let people compare scenarios before making everyday money decisions — from auto loans and mortgages to retirement, investing, and take-home pay across all 50 U.S. states.
How our calculators are built
Each tool is based on standard finance or payroll formulas. Inputs are processed entirely in your browser. For tools that depend on tax tables, withholding rules, or state-specific logic, we surface the assumptions on the page so the math is auditable. Results are educational estimates — they should be verified against current official guidance, your lender or employer, or a qualified professional.
Editorial standards
We aim to keep formulas, examples, and explanations clear and consistent. Pages are reviewed when assumptions, rate references, or user-experience improvements are made, and the most recent review date is shown on each calculator.
Update policy
Calculator pages are revisited when formulas, assumptions, examples, supporting explanations, or user-experience details need improvement. Tax-sensitive pages (paycheck, retirement, take-home pay) are reviewed against current official guidance when withholding rules, contribution limits, or bracket structures change. Each page carries a visible "Updated" date so readers can see when content was last revised.
Trust and accuracy
Personal finance is a Your-Money-or-Your-Life topic, so we treat accuracy seriously. Calculators link to authoritative sources where relevant (IRS, state tax agencies, federal regulators) and surface their assumptions on the page. Results are estimates, not guarantees — confirm anything material with your lender, employer, payroll provider, or a qualified professional before acting on a calculation.
Corrections
If you spot an error or have feedback, email hello@moneymathhub.app. We review correction requests promptly.
Important note
MoneyMath Hub does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or payroll advice. Our calculators are planning tools only. See our Editorial Policy, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for details.
